SEATTLE - July 15, 2010 – Seattle’s 32nd annual Lake Union Boats Afloat Show, where you’ll see hundreds of boats the way they were meant to be seen – on the water! From cabin cruisers, from sailboats to hundred-foot mega-yachts and everything in between, Boats Afloat has it all! Let us help get you into the boat of your dreams and out cruising the blue waters of the Pacific NW.

More than 50 distinct brands of yachts including Ocean Alexander, Selene, Westport, Bayliner, Kadey Krogen, Sunseeker, American Tug, Regal, Hallberg-Rassy, Jeanneau, J-Boat, Hunter, Catalina and more.

Exhibitors
More than 50 brokers and dealers from Washington, Oregon, California, Florida and British Columbia, Canada will display their yachts. Some 30 shore side exhibitors with professional services from marine finance and insurance to yacht linens and yacht maintenance will exhibit at the show.

Tour the S/V OceanWatch from Around the Americas Expedition
The 64-foot sailing vessel OceanWatch just returned from a 25,000 mile, one-year circumnavigation of the American continents with the mission of inspiring, educating and engaging the citizens of the Americas to protect our fragile oceans.

The Pacific Science Center – a partner in the expedition – will be on deck to demonstrate how to build a marine ecosystem and food web. Fun for kids and adults alike. Try your hand at checking water quality with the remote control Sea Perch boat or learn how to use satellite data to observe cloud cover.
