The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the largest voluntary life-saving organization in the nation, dedicated to supporting Coast Guard missions and enhancing maritime safety through public education, vessel inspections, environmental protection efforts, and on-the-water operations. Established in 1939, the Auxiliary is composed entirely of volunteers who embody the motto “Semper Paratus” (“Always Ready”), serving as a vital force multiplier and trusted partner of the Coast Guard across the United States.
