Northwest Yacht Brokers Association
Northwest Yacht Brokers Association (NYBA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1988 as an answer to the changing markets of boat brokers, dealers, and other industry professionals. The association was founded to protect the health of the marine industry and to create guidelines and ethical standards on which to business. NYBA’s principal role is to assist its member yacht brokers, dealers and affiliate members connect with boat buyers and sellers.
NYBA has been producing the Boats Afloat Show since 1978. Currently, the largest floating boat show on the West Coast, the show resides on the south end of Lake Union at Chandlers Cove.
The Northwest Yacht Brokers Association’s Boat Afloat Show connects thousands of boating enthusiasts with marine professionals and the finest pleasure craft the northwest has to offer—right on the water.
With over 30 years of history, the Lake Union Boats Afloat Show in September has consistently grown in popularity to become the largest in-water boat show on the West Coast. Boaters come from all over the United States and Canada to find and browse a variety of boat brands. The Boats Afloat Show features hundreds of boats ranging in size from 15 to over 100 feet, power and sail, alongside vendors happy to help with lending, insurance, repair, and more.
At the Boats Afloat Show, you’ll see over 50 distinct brands of boats including Ocean Alexander, Selene, Westport, Bayliner, Kadey Krogen, Grand Banks, Hampton, Sea Ray, DeFever, Ranger Tug, Navigator, Meridian, Regal, Jeanneau, Beneteau, Hunter, Catalina, Malibu, Mastercraft, Centurion and more.
