History
The Pacific Northwest’s largest floating boat show first landed in Seattle in 1978. Since then, guests have come to expect a world-class fleet of power and sailing yachts thoughtfully selected for all budgets and visions.
The fleet is presented by yacht brokers and dealers from the Northwestern U.S. and Western Canada, and features a wide assortment of marine products and services to help first-time and veteran boaters enjoy the water. The Boats Afloat Show is a long-standing favorite among boaters across the U.S. and Canada.
For decades, the NYBA produced two leading boat shows during the year- a 10-day show and a four-day show. Beginning in 2022, the NYBA has changed course and now offers two four-day shows in April and September.
Proceeds from NYBA-produced boat shows go back to the boating industry in Washington State through NYBA programs. Whether exhibiting or attending a Boats Afloat Show, your support of these shows helps make boating better in the Pacific Northwest.
