Northwest Yacht Brokers Association and the Boats Afloat Show is excited to announce the Official Charity Partner of the Spring Boats Afloat Show: Salmon for Soldiers . Salmon for Soldiers is a 501(c) 3 charity in Washington state. We’re excited to raise awareness for this important non-profit, whose mission is to provide free fishing events for U.S. veterans and active-duty military personnel.

Salmon for Soldiers’ mission is to offer a sense of normalcy and relaxation to U.S. military veterans and active duty personnel, through fishing. Salmon for Soldiers’ fishing opportunities are designed to help reduce stress while creating new relationships with others who enjoy fishing. Their events are thoughtfully designed to accommodate veterans with paralysis, PTSD, TBI and other debilitating challenges. The Mission is Fishin’!

Raffle
Looking for a fun way to support Salmon for Soldiers? Be sure to stop by the Salmon for Soldiers booth at the Boats Afloat Show! Northwest Yacht Brokers Association will be selling $5 raffle tickets, with all proceeds from raffle ticket sales being donated directly back to Salmon for Soldiers.
We have many wonderful community friends who have generously donated items to the raffle – thank you to: Seattle’s Tall Ship, CSR Marine, Anthony’s Restaurants, NautiGirl Brands, Seattle Seahawks, Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club, Center for Wooden Boats, DeLille Cellars, and Pumpout Seattle.
