SEATTLE, WA (APRIL 14,2025) – Distinctive boating designs, elegance and performance paired with shoreside activities are highlights at the 2025 Spring Boats Afloat Show, docking at Seattle’s South Lake Union next week, Friday through Sunday, April 25-27.
With more than 100 boats on display, the Spring Boats Afloat Show spotlights boating fun and lifestyles with sparkling on-the-water displays of power and sailing craft. It is an opportunity to explore a big selection of the region’s largest motor yachts, impressive sailboat offerings, luxury cruising/fishing models, high-end cruisers ideal for Northwest waters, and much more.
The show has added moorage at the adjacent HC Henry Pier to accommodate a wider variety of power and sailing craft. There’s plenty of shoreside excitement, too, with seminars by regional experts, “Tiki” boat cruises for showgoers on Satuday, live music daily, food and beverage offerings and a curated line-up of exhibitors.
A Northwest boating tradition since 1978, the event is presented by the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association.
“Boats of Note” spotlight boat debuts, new models
The show has attracted an impressive line-up of “Boats of Note” making their national and regional debuts. A sampling includes the Ocean Alexander 28 Legend stretching more than 95-feet. An impressive feature of the 28L is its main deck forward dining room seamlessly connected to a spacious and open galley. Other standouts include the West Coast debut of the Navan C30 displayed by Sun Country Marine Group featuring the all-new Brunswick brand; the head-turning Hammerhead models from luxury wooden boat company StanCraft; Oaksmith Yachts’ rugged Jasper Marine Defender 22 with multiple comfort features; the distinctive Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 luxury sailboat from Marine Servicenter; and the debut the Sunseeker Predator 55 with a retractable glass and carbon fibre sunroof, to name a few.

Quality shoreside exhibitors will feature innovations in boating technology, accessories and marine services. And there is plenty to see and do for the entire family, including:
- New to the show, the recently launched Emerald City Tiki Boat brings a colorful South Seas vibe to Lake Union, with free rides for showgoers Saturday-only, April 26th at 12,1 and 2 p.m. Space is limited for each cruise.
- Shoreside fun with “Kid’s Boat Building” Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, 1-4 p.m.; more than 25 hours of great live music by top local talent and a variety of food and beverage choices.
- Meet the experts atseminar presentationsoffering guidance for boat owners and “landlubbers” alike, including great regional boating destinations (many accessible by car, too), weather considerations, navigation and other helpful boat ownership topics.
Hours for the Spring Boats Afloat Show are Friday (April 25), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday (April 26), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday (April 27), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Discounted tickets purchased online through April 27 are adults $20, and teens (13-17), $5. Regular admission at the gate during the show is $24 for adults and $7 for teens. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
