Historic Steamship Tours: Courtesy of the Virginia V Foundation

Experience a piece of Seattle maritime history – take a self-guided tour of the historic steamship Virginia V, which is moored at the West Dock of the Boats Afloat Show throughout the show. Docents will be available to assist with questions. Please note the Virginia V is a National Historic Landmark; guests with physical mobility issues may find access and/or onboard maneuverability to be limited.

Pirate Ship Boat Rides: Sponsored by Emerald City Pirates

Join the Emerald City Pirates on Saturday, April 27th (weather permitting) for free boat rides aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge pirate ship! This fun, family-friendly activity will be available multiple times throughout the day, with sailings at: 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Space is limited to 47 passengers per sailing, and is first come-first served. In the event of rain, this activity may be cancelled or moved to Sunday, April 28th.

Kids’ Toy Boat Building: Presented by Center for Wooden Boats & Parr Lumber

Be sure to bring your little budding boatbuilder by The Center for Wooden Boats tent, for a fun toy boat building activity! Kids can build boats with wood and upcycled materials. Occurring Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm. All supplies are courtesy of The Center for Wooden Boats and Parr Lumber.

Come see Blitz, the Seahawks mascot at the Boats Afloat Show! Blitz will be onsite from 1-2pm. He will be at the Salmon for Soldiers booth for photo opportunities, and then will be exploring the show! Be sure to say “hi” and grab a pic with Blitz!
