THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17-20 – A WORLD-CLASS DISPLAY OF SPECTACULAR POWER AND SAILING CRAFT PLUS SHORESIDE FUN
SEATTLE, WA – Summer isn’t over just yet, and the 2026 Boats Afloat Show celebrates Northwest boating with an on-the-water showcase of more than 120 power and sailing craft and shoreside activities next week, Thursday through Sunday, September 17-20 at South Lake Union.
A favorite with avid boaters and “land lubbers” alike since 1978, the show is located at Lake Union Piers and is presented by the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association.
Spotlighting impressive boating designs and trends, showgoers are invited to explore the region’s premiere motor yachts, the latest sailboat offerings, luxury cruisers, lake boats, and performance models. More than 30 shoreside exhibitors will be on hand featuring innovations in boating technology, accessories, and marine services.
There’s a boatload of family activities, too, with children 12 and under admitted free. Special attractions include:
- Sunday only (September 20), take a free “South Seas” cruise aboard the colorful Emerald City Tiki Boat on Lake Union, with sailing times at 11 a.m., 12 p.m.,1p.m. and 2 p.m. Space is limited, and boarding passes must be obtained at the Show Information booth.
- Friday (September 18), the show welcomes fun-loving “Buoy” as the colorful mascot of the Seattle Kraken greets showgoers on the docks from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
- Ahoy youngsters! The popular “Free Kid’s Boat Building” with the Center for Wooden Boats is back Saturday and Sunday (September 19 and 20) from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with all the supplies provided.
- Top local musicians take the stage with more than 25 hours of live performances all four days – a fitting musical backdrop for this year’s festivities, plus tasty food, and beverage choices, too.

“Boats of Note” spotlight forward-thinking design trends, elegance, and performance
Hand-picked by participating brokers and dealers, the show’s outstanding “Boats of Note” are among the most distinctive models in the show featuring West Coast introductions, the latest trends in luxury, and advances in power and technology.
The latest additions to the “Boats of Note” line-up Include a welcoming retreat for Northwest cruising, the Horizon V68. Presented by Horizon Yachts, this 68-footer features an enclosed Skylounge, inviting gathering places and separate quarters for crew members; Oaksmith Yachts showcased the rare limited production Jasper Marine Defender 22 – Storm Bow built for the Pacific Northwest’s real conditions with its enclosed bow configuration.
Premier Yachts cruises in with the Viking 74 Enclosed Bridge “Kickback,” featuring the builder’s renowned reputation for incredible offshore cruising capabilities and one of the finest finished yacht interiors in the marine industry; new to the show, the F4.3 from builder Prestige Yachts is presented by Sundance Yachts with its spectacular ocean-view galley, spacious salon and innovative hydraulic swim platform.
Union Marine introduces the Regal Boats line to the Pacific Northwest at this year’s show, including the new 37-foot Regal 36 Grande Coupe. Regal is celebrated for high-end craftsmanship and innovative hull designs, and this model features a spectacular ocean-view galley and spacious salon, and Waterline Boats displays the newly introduced Helmsman Trawler 31x, configured as a compact “expedition” trawler with a yacht tender topside and a finely crafted interior. Worth Avenue Yachts presents the 72-foot “La Bella Vita II,” a spacious Hampton 720 Skylounge LR long-range motor yacht with a distinctive enclosed skylounge and raised pilothouse arrangement.

Regular discounted tickets purchased online are $21 for adults (18 and over) and $5 for teens. Tickets purchased at the gate during the show are $24 for adults (18 and over) and $7 for teens. Children 12 and under are admitted FREE.
Special ticket offerings include the Opening Day Ticket, with one wine or beer served at the Breakwater Bar with each adult admission. The show proudly offers a Military Discount ticket ($15) valid with a Military I.D., available at the gate only.
