TICKETS ON SALE FOR THE WORLD-CLASS DISPLAY OF SPECTACULAR POWER AND SAILING CRAFT PLUS SHORESIDE FUN
SEATTLE, WA – Closing out the summer with an on-the-water celebration of Northwest boating, the 2026 Boats Afloat Show is a sparkling showcase of distinctive boating designs and trends September 17-20, 2026, at Lake Union Piers on scenic South Lake Union.
With a world-class line-up of more than 120 power and sailing craft, it is an opportunity for showgoers to explore the region’s premiere motor yachts, the latest sailboat offerings, luxury cruisers, lake boats, and performance models. Quality shoreside exhibitors feature innovations in boating technology, accessories and marine services.
Presented by the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association, the event has been a Northwest boating tradition since 1978.
There is plenty to see and do for all ages (children 12 and under are admitted free) with special attractions, including:
- Sunday only (September 20), take a free “South Seas” cruise aboard the colorful Emerald City Tiki Boat on Lake Union, with sailing times at 11 a.m., 12 p.m.,1p.m. and 2 p.m. Space is limited, and boarding passes must be obtained at the Show Information booth.
- Friday (September 18), the show welcomes fun-loving “Buoy” as the colorful mascot of the Seattle Kraken greets showgoers on the docks from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
- Ahoy youngsters! The popular “Free Kid’s Boat Building” with the Center for Wooden Boats is back Saturday and Sunday (September 19 and 20) from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with all the supplies provided.
- Top local musicians take the stage with more than 25 hours of live performances all four days – a fitting musical backdrop for this year’s festivities, plus tasty food and beverage choices, too.

The sparkling on-the-water show encompasses forward-thinking design trends coupled with elegance and performance. An early sampling the show’s outstanding “Boats of Note” includes Inventech Marine Solution’s 45-foot Full Cabin featuring the advanced, 48V Navico Fathom generator system with lithium-ion technology; the all-new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 415, presented by Marine Servicecenter, features a roomy, next generation design inspired by the world of sailboat racing; Maritimo presents its largest motor yacht to date, the Maritimo 75, making its West Coast debut at the show featuring four staterooms, four heads, and other luxury features; Philbrook’s Boatyard’s 65-foot Umiak V is a proven West Coast explorer originally built as a custom yacht based on a Canadian Fisheries Patrol Post Class hull series and was most recently refined as a sophisticated long-range cruiser.
SeaNet Yachts presents theAbsolute 48 Coupé, bringing a fresh approach to the express yacht category with its innovative technology, including a transparent solar panel allowing natural light into the salon, expansive windows, and other features that connect guests to the surrounding environment; the gorgeous 2024 Moody 41DS sailor is offered by Seattle Yachts, with an array of comfort features and cruiser-friendly systems. Commissioned in Germany, it arrived in the Pacific Northwest via cargo ship. Silver Seas Yachts spotlights the new, 82-foot Azimut 25M Magellano with its curated Italian design features, luxury owner and guest suites, crew accommodations, residential-sized furnishings and appliances, and much more. It features multiple primary helm stations offering full access to vessel systems thorough the Raymarine electronics suite.

Tickets are on sale through the show’s website, including “Early Bird” discount tickets purchased online through September 2: adults $16 (18 and over) and teens $5. Regular discounted tickets purchased online starting September 3 are $21 for adults (18 and over) and $5 for teens. Tickets purchased at the gate during the show are $24 for adults (18 and over) and $7 for teens. Children 12 and under are admitted FREE.
Special ticket offerings include the Opening Day Ticket, with one wine or beer served at the Breakwater Bar with each adult admission. The show proudly offers a Military Discount ticket ($15) valid with a Military I.D., available at the gate only.
